Will a muncie 4 speed fit under a small hump floor pan???

A Passenger Car Muncie will, but not an SM420 or 465 truck trans. The car transmissions are not much bigger than the 3 speed that comes in low hump trucks.

If I'm running a TH400 now. Other than pedal and linkage stuff and the obvious....all I need is a TH350 driveshaft? Will the TH400 crossmember work if I move it?

You wouldn't necessarily have to have a whole drive shaft. Just get you a 350yoke. easier to find than the whole drive line.
