new steering wheels
i have a bunch of new 2004-2006 gm truck and van leather wrapped steering wheels laying around. has anyone tried using these on our old trucks? if they fit the main problem is i dont have the center section that contains the horn or air bag. thinking i could make something there. any ideas? pkj

I thought about this while tooking at wheels. I would think you could get a cover without the bag, but no idea what it would cost. Not sure what one would cost, but I guess you could fab one up out of leather too and just use some padding of sorts.

Why not make you a mold out of some expandable foam? After it dries you can shape it the way you want. You probably should spray the inside of the wheel with some Pam or non-stick stuff.
