Is it worth going to?
If so I might make a trip out there.

I will be there
I wish I could make it on Friday before everything is picked over. But if I get there early enough on Saturday (before Eddie) there just may be some bargains left. Sunday afternoon is the day to make the deals on unsold items. Last meet I met a guy who scored a nice clean set of 15x8 5 lug ralleys complete with rings and caps for $75 Then there is that guy who has all of the late model take out seats. Hmmmm

I've been going to these meets for the last umpteen years, and you're likely to find nearly anything out there. The trick is to wade through all the overpriced junk and be able to spot the real bargains.
I usually find the best deals on the last couple of rows at the far north end where there is not as much traffic and people are more anxious to sell. One time I found a NEW, still in the original GM box GMC woodgrain tailgate molding for $60, (Just the letters alone sell for more than that) , a pair of nice GMC chrome front fender eyebrows for $5 apiece, and a good straight 71 GMC grill for $65 ( those are $200 up) It's kinda like treasure hunting. Sometimes you get lucky but most of the time you don't.

I will be there
I along with a handfull of fellow Southern Bowties, MMCC and NTCC members will be there. We, Southern Bowties have reserved 7 spaces on row 17 spaces 30-33. Come by and say hi, you can't miss us. Look for my blue '67 short step, a white '56 Chevy Panel 4x4 (for sale), maroon '75 'vette (for sale), brown Chevy Big10 and a white short fleetside chevy.
This friday night we are having our last sponsored meet at Keller's drive-in for the year. At typical meets we have anywhere from 15-30+ cars/trucks show up. It's a great time to see some awesome cars and trucks and meet with some really great people. Plus you can't beat the #5 and $1.30 longnecks! Hope to see you there and happy hunting!

It's held 5 times/year, and I go at least 3 times. To give you some idea of prices, here's what I've bought there over the years:
$20 for 4 brand new early 90s bow tie center caps for use with my 73-87 rally wheels. GM list price: >$50 each $190 for complete OEM-style rear bumper kit w/ 5year warranty on chrome. $140 for a new TCI mini-starter that's $169 at Summit Racing. Kenny's Truck Parts is always there with the lowest prices anywhere on trim parts. You can also find lots of tools, sandblasters, engine stands, and stainless bolts in sizes you thought didn't exist, not to mention old cars and trucks for sale. Also check out StrokerMotor.com's booth. Dick Allen sells Edelbrock, Lunati, SCAT, and AFR parts parts for the same price as Summit and Jeg's with no tax or shipping. He also has 383 rotating assemblies and builds complete motors.
