Re: post pics of your wheels

I kept mine simple, the 15 inch steel wheels painted semi gloss black with shiny baby moon caps, pics:

yer prolly looking for bigger and more custom, but that is what I did, it was simple, low -buck and makes the truck look completely different.

Re: post pics of your wheels

SIR - those look sweet on that ride.

-----

steverino66 - asked me about the caps on my truck, so I thought I'd post it in here in case anyone else wanders in and wants to know.

-W

The caps on my truck are for a early 1970's base model chevy nova. Part number below...

My first set, I bought off of eBay. Then one of them came off cuz my wheel was loose. That was very weird cuz I'm usually known for over tightening things. *shrug*

Then I went loooking for another one... found another set of four from someone at

http://www.stevesnovasite.com

So now I have 3 spares. hah.

Keep an eye out for them at swap meets or maybe a local yard might have some.

Below are some more pictures and the actual part number for the hubcap. You can use that part number when searching ebay and so forth.

https://stepsidematraca.wordpress.co...092005-4-pics/

The wheels on this truck are the original style 1965 15 inch steel wheels, painted a semi-gloss black. The hubcaps in these pictures were originally for a base model Chevrolet Nova 1971-1973ish. Part number for the hubcap: 39961381

https://stepsidematraca.wordpress.co...-2/03122006-2/

down at the bottom of this page are pics of my wheels without the caps, so you can compare with your wheels:

I got the idea from a guy who has a '65 fleetside... I was wondering what ideas there were while keeping the 15 inch wheel and he posted pics of his truck.

It took me a good while to track down what car and all that they came off of originally.
