Have a chance to pick up a 2wd Blazer body is toast (Ohio) would like as rust free as possible and east of the mississsippi will drive within reason any of you texas guys coming north and want to haul one this way would be great anyway let me know whats out there and oh yea got a bunch of stuff for sale in 67-72 parts section would prefer a trade as cash is tight let me know what we can cook up and thank you for checking my post Mike

i am just above baton rouge, it is still complete less trans and t-case- it is my parts truck i bought for the front cap and wheels
It is pretty much mint, i tear in floor where drivers seat bracket was- like every other blazer I have seen and the drivers door striker is torn loose and needs to be welded in

There is a 73-75 convertable style one sitting in a junkyard here mostly complete

how bad is the tub luv I can fix most anything else but hate to be messing with rust please let me know 10ohsea is way closer than Louisiana but I am not ruling that one out yet

Isn't there a difference in the floor pans? (I think the floor kicks up right in front of the rear seat??) I don't remember what year they made the change, (maybe '76 when they went to the half top, instead of the full roof like the '73-'75 models.),... but could make a difference when you swap bodies. What year is the 2wd?

76 I believe I truthfully never checked as I would be getting it out of a local junkyard and with no title I will do some more research on this as I am not up on all of the points to be considered on this swap thank you for the input Mike

Mike, there is a difference in the floor pan. I have a '73 that I recently picked up. The po took out the wheel tubs and fuel line protector to put in a homemade camper.No limits to what a po will do. I picked up a '78 for parts and noticed the pan difference. The cab mounts appear to be the same though. Plenty of rust free tubs 76-91 going to the scrappers out here. It's a little bit of a drive though lol..........Rick
