Catalytic Converters
Does anyone know what year they started putting catalytic converters on the trucks? Mine is a 75 half ton long bed with 350, 12 bolt, and 3.43's. Does this make it a heavy half? I thought they started putting on cats in 75, but some of the trucks didn't come equipped. Is there anyway to know by the VIN or other info weather or not it originally had a cat?

i think 75-76 is when they started on these trucks... dont hold me to that though...
