Rearend Change
I am curious about changing rear diffs in my truck. Its a 67 C20 2wd. With Coils and T-arms. Is there a rear diff i can use thats almost a bolt-in? I want 5 lug 15s to fit on it.

71-72 chevy half ton with coils bolts right in. Be sure to grab the panard bar for the 71-72 1/2 ton axle to as they are different from 3/4 and 1/2 ton. Also what trans does your truck have now? Because the u joints for th350 and 3spd manuals are different from th400 and 4spd. It will help with the swap if the axles came out of trucks with similar transmissions. Hope this helps.

Its got the granny 4-speed in it. I want to either put another 4-speed in it or a manual 3 speed. Mainly i want to be able to play around in it and not break driveshafts and carrier bearings like i use to years ago. So i will be keeping the 3/4 ton driveshaft in it.

I think you can keep your drive shaft, not sure on the length, sorry. But they only used 2 types of u joints, the smaller 3 spd and th350 powerglide, the larger and beafier 4spd and th400. Sounds like you have the large ujoints. So find a 71-72 half ton with a th400 or 4spd for your axle. You may want to grab the drive shaft to just in case of you needing a different length or just to put it back. It never hurts to have an extra drive shaft around.
