big rim backspacing
Can anyone tell me what backspacing I would need to mount a 20x8.5" wheel on a '74 SWB. Centerline has a set I want, but at 5.4" backspace, it seems too much. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: big rim backspacing
I don't know your stance (lowered?), but they may work in the front. (8s with a bs of ~5" - 5.25" is recommended for the front.) But, since the rear's track is narrower, they may set in too much for your liking. Normally, a 5" bs is recommended for 10s in the rear.

Re: big rim backspacing
Sorry, yes the truck is lowered. I do not know the exact amount of drop but I would say about a 4/6".
