Adjusting the Choke: 4bbl Rochester E4m Quadrajet?
Hey guys I have a 83 Chevy stepside that is running too rich, I would like to know how I should ajust the choke on the carb so that my truck will stop letting out black smoke when I punch it on the freeway or somthing. Here are a few pics, what can you guys tell me about it?
Heres a pic of it for you all, its a work in progress! Last edited by Rc 415; 01-16-2007 at 07:35 PM. |

Does it do this when it's hot aswell?. If so it's not a choke problem, it's you air fuel mixture screws...
Choke only operates, when it's cold Duro |
