Power Steering mount
Does anyone have good clear pics of how to mout the power steering in a 72Chevy/GMC?? my bracket broke and im looking to try and fine a new one anyone know of any good easy after market ones? mines mounted on the driversied unter the Alt. need help please

Those pics & threads cover it pretty well. There was a little different set of brackets on the 283 & 327, but they were not as good as the later ones.
The brackets that Mark/Rage runs are the strongest of all those available for our trucks. They are thicker & heavier. You still need to have all of the components match, because some DO NOT interchange/line up. It is always easiest to get a complete system off of the same truck or make sure the seller has put all the parts on an engine and checked their line up. Save those pictures...This question/problem comes up about twice a week! |
