Somthing cool i found
I found the build sheet from the janesville Wis plant for my dads 72 truck that he bought new. I think this is kind of a rare find. It has the packet you get with warranty card,Owners manual, and sales sheet he payed $3805.00 for it LOL!!. Date of sale 4/6/72 kind of cool i thought and wanted to share with you all.

Re: Somthing cool i found
Do you still have the truck or can you find it? It was kinda rare for a truck owner to hold onto that stuff, muscle cars as well cause back in the day these were just cars and trucks with no BJ (Barrett Jackson) value. So to find a vehicle with all its documents is kinda rare, what options did/does it have?

Re: Somthing cool i found
The build sheet was just stuck in the owners manual. it funny to think that after all them years that it was all in the glove box still in it little plastic packet with a ton of tools and farm parts pilled on top LOL!!! I learnt how to drive in this truck when i was 9 years old and how to do doughnuts when dad wasnt looking.
Ill get some pictures for ya soon as i can. Last edited by CrashEd; 01-30-2007 at 12:26 PM. |

Re: Somthing cool i found
My build sheet was stuck in my seat springs, i think.. Maybe that was my buddies dart.. But, I have my window sticker, bill of sale and build sheet to my 72. I think that's pretty cool to have. I think mine was $4200. Seems like a LOT of $ for back then.
