327 and TH-350 in Colorado

I was told this was a 327 when I bought the 68. The numbers on the front of the deck say it is either a 307 or a 327. I guess it would take checking the crank to be sure, but I have never had the pan off. The engine ran when I bought the truck, but after warming up there is a knock, sounds like a rod bearing??

The TH-350 I bought from a board member a couple years ago. It had been recently rebuilt (a couple thousand miles on it). He pulled it from a running truck to start a frame-up on. I bought it for the 68, but then later decided on a new TCI transmission.

I'll offer them both together for $100, you pick up, no shipping. Please post here if interested. Thanks!!

(Engine stands not included.)

Re: 327 and TH-350 in Colorado

If you post the front pad numbers in front of the pass head, members can tell you if it's a 307 or 327. Good luck.

Re: 327 and TH-350 in Colorado

Last time I check them, all I could find was "307/327". But I'll post them up tonight.

Re: 327 and TH-350 in Colorado

Bob, we will definitely take them. You should reconsider the engine stands, with them in the way you have no place to put the CNC cutter.

I'll stop by work tomorrow and we can discuss pick up.
