I have a 2wd 400 in my 89, using a Ford 205 case, and adaptor for a 208/241. I swapped the t-case input with a GM one from an 86. Member on CK5 had a spacer made so you can mate the two together, let me borrow it so I could get one made. The GM and Ford 6 bolt pattern LOOK the same, but they are not. 2 holes are slightly off. What the spacer does it take up the extra shaft length, clock the case, and proper spacing on the bolt holes. So, you can get a spacer made that goes between the case and adaptor.
