Bedside Toolbox doors....
I'm going over the small body panels in prep for primer, inner doors for new door skins, tail gate. I took the bed out getting acid dipped so I'll be shooting that in next week top and bottom.
My question is - on the bed side toolbox doors, I know they are the first thing to rust out. The one I am working with is very clean. What is the best way to clean and seal it so it doesn't rust in the future? In addition the door bottom insides before the skins go on.

Re: Keeping it clean inside once it's done...
Can't really say on the toolbox door (never really looked at one before) but I would say the best thing for the inside of the panels you don't want to rot out again is to coat them with POR-15 or something equivelent... Try asking over in the paint & body section. Someone over there may be able to help better... Solid looking GMC ya got there!

first off, nice truck you got there
but also i think you could also roll on or spray some line-ex or rhino lining or others of the sort for protection to
