Smile Since it's been slow...

I dropped my speaker box and console off at the upholstery shop today. Picked out a real nice black vinyl and discussed the whole thing with him. He didn't give me a definete time he would be done, said, it would be before Christmas.

I can't wait to see how they are going to look. I hope all my hard work pays off.

This little project turned into a major one in a hurry. Let's see. After working on the speaker box, I ended up buying some new subs and tweeters. Then after the new subs, ended up buying a new amp to drive them, along with new midbass speakers for the Q-logic kick panel inclosures. Then after the the new amp, ended up last night buying a new CD receiver.

And I thought this would be a rather cheap project.

As far as building one for someone. It would be just about impossible to do without having the truck with you. You would not believe the amount of trimming and fitting needed. The basic design is the same of course, but with every little thing different, it changes the whole spectrum of things.

LOL, you'd better lock up the wifes and girlfriends while he out there too! Also, once the enclouser is finished Im sure he'll have to take your truck to the 1/4 mile track to do some test driving.
