Where to have a crew cab build????

I would LOVE (actually its my dream truck) to have a 72 crew cab short bed. So once my current truck is paid for, I will build my dream truck instead of buying a new truck. Problem is, I have ZERO skills when it comes to body work so I will have to find someone to do that part for me. Truck body will be going on a 01+ 2500HD crew cab short bed frame with duramax and allison and retain the IFS suspensio as well.

What places might be able to do this for me? Prefer on the east side of the Mississippi R. (I'm in KY) but if I have to, I may consider out west somewhere (especially if LFD did it - his work is INCREDIBLE).

I think the way I would prefer it to be done is using a subruban and marrying it to the back of a truck cab. The forth door does NOT have to be functioning. Simply too complicated and bound to cost too much to be worth it IMO.

What would be an estimate/guestimate (based on approx. hrs to do x shop rate/hr) on a cost to do just the build of the cab? No painting, etc. Just the metal work to cut down the suburban, marry it smoothly to the truck cab and make sure everthing works and fits properly. Rust free as well.

Thanks.

CG, yes I'm aware of that thread, hence my mention of LFD as a possibility if none are available this side of the Mississippi R. and provided he'f want to do it again.
