Power Steering and Steering U-Joint questions
I bought a power steering gear box from a 87 chevy truck and am going to use a power steering pump from a 1968 c-10, my truck is stock height. Do I need a power steering u-joint and a coupler/rag joint too, or just one or the other? Also does anyone reccommend I sell my 68 power steering pump and just get a newer model one as well? (finding a shop to make the adapter from standard to metric is a b!tch). Will a newer power steering pump even fit?

Re: Power Steering and Steering U-Joint questions
Just my opinion I don't think you would need to change the pump as long as the lines fit.

I can't answer the rag joint qusestion. I'm not 100% certain what you mean about the metric conversion. Are you referring to using the later style box with metric o-ring fittings? If so, check out Lee for some cool inserts. They allow you to use your factory style hoses. They can probably answer all of your questions.
