I put one on my 72 bolts right up except one bolt you drill. Went from 6 lug drum to 5 lug disk.

Here is where I had to re-drill on mine. Be sure and use the inside frame stiffeners from the later model front crossmember. The top hole can just be drilled from either side but I had to enlarge the hole in the frame on the bottom one because there was a nut welded to the crossmember at that location.

Other than that it just drops right in. Save the power steering setup & sway bar and brackets from the later one too.

yes, some say that is the better way than going with the 71-72 fronts. The later models parts may be cheaper than the 71-72.
