Illusive '69 headlight parts?
Looking through catalogs, trying to find a complete set of parts to put some head lights in my '69 CST/10. How come there is no inner mounting ring for the 69+ trucks, just the earlier C10s? My dad called classicparts.com asking if this: http://classicparts.com/prodinfo.asp?number=48-371 would fit. According to them, no.
So what needs to be changed to either the core support, or the mounting ring to make them fit. Or where can the '69's be found? |

Going junk yard hunting in a few weeks.
Whats the difference in the pre-'69 head lights. And what would it take to fit them, incase thats all we find? |

Re: Illusive '69 headlight parts?
I've got one good 69 headlight tub if you want it? My truck was tapped in the left front in a wreck, so I only have a good right front bucket.

Re: Illusive '69 headlight parts?
The same part as whats in the link I have in the 1st post.
Right now, I have no lights... Were doing the euro-light conversion from LMC (puts late model bulbs) and we cant find that inner mounting ring. |

Re: Illusive '69 headlight parts?
Here is a hint, the lmc bulbs are the same as the $9.95 ebay ones, they're both made of glass.
