hello all I am new here and have the first of what I am sure will be many questions. I have a 68 longbed fleetside and was trying to remove the guage cluster the other night and could not get the choke knob off .Is there a trick to this or am I just missing some thing. I will try to post a pic of my truck tonight I don't have any here at work.

Re: ok first question

A small set screw sideways on the knob. Turn the knob or look around until you can see it. A small pocket screwdriver will get it out.

After the knob removal, the bezel unscrews from the dash.

Re: ok first question

The choke should unscrew off the shaft, just pull it out and hold it with pliers. The wiper knob should have a little set screw on the side. If you have trouble with the tight switch knob, It has a button on top of the switch that has to be pressed to release the knob and shaft.
