i have a 71 chevy 1/2 ton 350 4 barral any one kno the horse power and tourqe and or tell me where to find this informaition Thanx

I have a book that lists all that stuff.It varies though depending on the bore,stoke,ect.The most for a 4bl 350 was 275 if I remember right

I think the pre-71 truck 350's with a 4bbl. had 255hp and 350 lb. ft of torque.

mines a 72 350 4brl and i was told its 175hp and like 280tq i think

Chev Truck 1971 Chassis Service Manual states :- 350 V8 ; 250 HP @ 4600 RPM; Torque - 350 @ 3000 RPM

Keep in mind that back in the day, the HP and TQ ratings were "Gross", as opposed to "Net" as they are today. Subtract roughly 25-30% from the "Gross" and it will translate to modern "Net" numbers...

More spec's---- 350 V/8- 145 HP (Net) @ 3800 RPM
Torque (Net) 250 @ 2200 RPM Taxable HP - 51.2

acording to the gm resto packet its 175hp @ 4000 rpm and 290tq @ 2400rpm both net ratings

I would go with the specs as listed in the Chev shop manual--- as I listed previously.
