Re: Burn out pics?

Block in front of the tires!!!??? No, no,
More power Scotty.. Hahaha

If I had a camera operator I'd get some with my S-10. No blocks needed!!

Long ago was playing around with my 72, learning how to power brake a manual trans truck, and did a good long burnout. When I shut it down I had a 3 to4 inch long icicle of rubber hanging off the right rear fender. Wish I had a video of that one! LOL

Re: Burn out pics?

you cant do an emergency brake stand because the emergency brake will stop the rear tires. when i usually do them i play with the regular brake a little because the front tires will get most of the braking force.

if it's an auto then it'll be easy, if not it will take a little practice to work the clutch, brake and gas at the same time

Re: Burn out pics?

I don't have any with my truck, either, and I dunno if it'll even turn over the 20's with a mild motor, TH350, and a mid 3 series gear. I'll try when the weather up here breaks.

In the meantime, here's one from my sportbike days a long time ago (2 summers, LOL). The bike you can barely see is a ZX12 that was stage 1'd.... I won the burnout contest.... Prize? Yup, 100 bucks.... Price of a new rear skin? 175 and an hour of my time to mount/balance. Not sound economic policy, but alotta fun.

It wasn´t the tires smoking, I think you need a new emergency brake now.
