am i asking for trouble trying to snug.....
275/35/20 on a 20x8.5 inch wheels. it says for 9-11 inch width wheels. from edge to edge it's about 9inches but inside its 8.5. so what do you guy think.
dont want to have uneven size tire hieght so i think i'm going to try to put that tire size on all four corners. but i want to make sure i'm not going to fk anything up in the front. |

I think the 275 on a 8.5 inch rim will be ok...but as for putting them up front...I wouldn't hold my breath on it.
Just get 2 at first, and see if they rub. If thy do...go with a 255/30 or even a 255/25. These tires will be easily damaged doing street duty in the real world with a tank ass truck on top of them. |

alex,
the difference between a 245/40/20 and 275/35/20 is 1/10" as for the 275/35 on a 8.5 im not sure i ran a 275/50 on an 8" rim but the extra sidewall allows for that. with a 35 series tire it may be cutting it close since theres not that much sidewall to buldge. |

Think about a 255/35/20. It would fit the wheels and look good.
