Carb Rebuild

I have a small fuel leak in the carb that needs to be addressed at some point.

I found this after searching,

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...uretor+rebuild

It is helpfull with links, I guess my question is seeing as I have never re-built a carb before would it be worth it for me to find one rebuilt and purchase, or maybe a new setup? Any recomendations on low to med priced performance setups?

Re: Carb Rebuild

Where's the leak? Tween the 2 halfs? A hole punched in the side(grin)? Im assuming your talkin bout a 4 bbl q-jet.

They aint hard to rebuild, and Im no mechanic. There should be instruction in the kit. Between them, the link, and the sites in the link, you should be good to go. Keep things clean, take tons of pics that you can reference when you forget how its goes back together (big grin).
HTH....good luck.....don t. .....
