91 1500 4x4, 350, auto Says it runs good, need trans work and rearend work. I just want it for parts. What ya'll think???? |

He has probably already sold it but if not I will go get it. I want to do the front end swap and efi on my truck. Plus it never hurts having a parts truck around. I just wanted some imput to see if I was right on the money.

not running and rusted out, it would still be worth $750 for the front cap and efi and serp assy., that is not to mention the interior and any trim.
Buy it, take waht you want, part the rest and you will make your money back and the stuff you robbed will be free.

I finally got in touch with him and he still has it. He says that it pulls but it won't change gears (700R4 for you). Said the motor has been rebuilt and runs like a top. He told me $700 cash was the low dollar and I told him I would be there saturday to pick it up. Said it had buckets and a console, 4x4 works great, has the factory aluminum wheels that I am wanting. He said he would tell everyone that I had dibs on it. I will post some pics when I get it home.

thats awesome man,, I'm jealous. I thought I got a good deal on my 87 Chevrolet 4x4 with 210000 miles on it.. and no reverse.. I paid 500

awsome deal.
im looking to do the swap like on that suburban some time just got to get the part love mine but i like that fromt end to. as long as i put  that grill one it the one on the top.

awesome deal!! I did only slightly better buying my 89 k5 for $500, running and driving , only leaky waterpump. Sould trans and t-case and got my money back. Still have the rest. I bought it for the front cap, serp assy and the like new 33" bfg at's on nice wheels. The spare axles and mint motor are just a bonus, not to mention all the other small parts I will use/ swap.

Hey man, Does that burb have a good dash bezel? Does it have the 1 1/2 have din sized hole? If so that would be sweet for putting in a late model gm cd-player..

Well I got it home and boy is it a T....U....R....D !!!!! Motor runs great, grille is cracked, but everything is there for the swap. Hood is good, doors are good, and the back gate is good, back seat is good and as is the 3rd row seat, the buckets are useable, all the wiring will be good. I will have a lot of parts to put up I guess unless I take it to the scrap yard. I will try to get some pics later.
