Rumor has it you can buy the same dipstick from one of these restoration outfits for a chevelle with power brakes. Try Year One or Danchuks

Chuck70 Let me know how the dipstick fits and how much when you get one. Was this correct for 71? Anyone got a pic of this setup? I will look for that center seat belt in the attic

Qwick enough for you do you know if the BB air cleaner was the same as used on a SB. I'm trying for a stock look.

Re: WTB misc. parts 1970 4X4
Yeah I know the drum are one year only. I had them when I first got the truck and converted to disc. Sold them to a fellow board member not thinking I would use them again. Plans change, trying to go mostly original on the rebuild.
I don't know if the 4X4 forward facing dipstick tube was '71 original or not. The '72 Blazer I had had one in it, more convenient to check the oil. There are a couple on Danchucks and the Chevelle site but I don't know if they'll work or not.

Re: WTB misc. parts 1970 4X4
not sure if you're going for an exact restoration. if you are just going for the "look" you may want to try a dip stick out of a van.

I have a sbc air cleaner for sale. I guess $40 shipped is fair. Came off of my 72 GMC 2wd.
