Bucket Seat Question??
A buddy found some bucket seats in a 75 truck. It's says on the glove box it's a bucket seat truck. It's got a 69-72 console and he thinks the seats could also be 69-72. Is there anyway to tell the diffrence between 69-72 and 73-79 buckets? I have not seen them yet. They are low back and have been re-covered.
If they are 73-79 can the foam and covers for 69-72 work with the seat frames. thanks

Re: Bucket Seat Question??
The seat are probably original. The consoles were the same from 69-@76 and the seats were very simular. The brackets will be different the frame are the same but the foams will be somewhat different. The seats I am going to use in my 72 are out of a 74 truck but I know of an upolstry guy who can work the foam and make 72 seat covers work where nobody will be be able to tell the difference. Of course I will have to find the correct brackets for 72's
