Mile High city here I come...

I will be headed for Denver on Friday to watch my daughter volleyball compete in a Junior Olympic qualifier. Despite a slow start to their season they are seeded 11th out of 128 teams in their division. They have to place 1st or 2nd to qualify for the Junior Olympics this year.

After that I am off to the mountains for a few days. I'll spend some time on Copper Mountain, Keystone, and Breckenridge.

See y'all next week...

Drink lots of water! Plus use lots of sunscreen on the ski hills. You would be amazed how many of you flatlanders that run out of steam from the altitude. Drinking lots of water helps keep the headache away. If you forget the sunscreen you'll be walking around back home with "racoon eyes" for a month!

Good luck on the V-ball tourney! I'll be in denver this weekend hanging out with the my folks. Plus my Dad's rebuilding the carb off of dirtylarry's beater truck. Might get some boneyard time in too if the weather stays nice!

Welcome to Colorado.

Good luck to the team and all the teams.
If I have the right team (http://s164944494.onlinehome.us/tour...&team=WILLO52), it looks like they missed qualifying, but placed higher than they were seeded. Quite an accomplishment none the less.

Enjoy the mountains. The weather should be nice.
