Toyota wheels

hi everybody,
this site is new to me still but i am amazed at the knowledge here
pretty cool !

the first change to my yard waste hauler is getting rid of those
split rims and bias plies , so i found some toyota tundra 16x7 steel wheels
with o.k. tires on them for free
so of course i put them on , they fit o.k. they look better than i thought
pic's coming soon
my question is does anybody know if the stock lug nuts will mate up
tight with the toyota rims ? as far as the seat angles
thanks in advance

Re: Toyota wheels

I don't think the lug nuts will work. My wife used to drive a Tacoma. It came with aftermarket wheels installed and the stock ones too. When I went to put the stock wheels back on, I had to buy all new Toyota lug nuts because they were specific to the Toyota wheels. I looked at the 4N wrecking yards too, they would not part with just the lugs, because they knew they were Toyota specific. Also new ones IIRC were nearly $5 each, and you need 24 of them!

Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
