Cowl Debris Question...

Took the cowl off to clean out the pine needles(even found a Soy Sauce Packet along the way). I also sucked some out of the kick panel vents. I can only get so far with the vacuum. Any suggestions for getting all the debris out of it?

Switch your dry vac to blow and shoot that stuff back out the top. Although when I pulled my heater/ac stuff off, there was still a bunch of leafs in there.

Re: Cowl Debris Question...

If you have access to an air compressor you can use high pressure air to blow it out. It's a lot more air pressure than the vacumn can give. After that run lots of water through it to flush out what you can.

Re: Cowl Debris Question...

After you have done all of that, invest in some cowl guards, they come
in regular and SS versions, worth the money if the rig stays outdoors

Re: Cowl Debris Question...

If you don't mind making a mess, get the remainder out with a garden hose thru the interior kick panel vents. That worked great, but I did it with the carpet out.
And then get the vent screens.

Re: Cowl Debris Question...

Also if you on the cheap you can make the vent screens from an old satelite dish screen...
