Which shocks do you guys prefer?
So I'm in the process of putting on the ECE drop spindles and coil springs in the front end of my truck and I figure its a good time to go ahead and replace the front shocks. I buy most of my stuff from ECE and they have the KYB GR-2, as well as the KYB Self adjusting shocks for a few bucks more. I've also heard some good things about the brothers lowered shocks. I was just wondering if you guys had any good opinions on these trucks with lowered front suspension.
Thanks again guys any input is appreciated! |

I have the grey KYB's from ECE. I'm plenty happy with my ride quality.

I have Belltech Nitroactives and I love the ride from them. I think they handle well too. But that's just me...

The KYB GR-2's from ECE work super. The KYB Gas-A-Justs are too stiff to me.

Re: Which shocks do you guys prefer?
i just used NAPA Classic Rider Gas $67Cdn per shock, not sure how much drop you have, but mine is 2/4, and they work perfect.

Re: Which shocks do you guys prefer?
I have Toxic Shocks and am not impressed. I think they are a "one size fits all" kind of situation. However I have yet to drive the truck b/c it is motorless so I can't say how they feel. They were kinda cheap and when it comes to shocks, you get what you pay for.
