Radiator bracket widths - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Could someone give me the dimensions on both the 3 core and 4 core radiator support brackets? I bought a new aluminum radiator and don't know if my original 3 core support brackets will fit. My truck's in Alabama and I can't get to it until next weekend.

The inside measurement (with rubber in place) on the two I have are 2 7/8" & 3 1/2"....
