Body mounts and hinges are common wear points that could be causing the door issues.
If the door drops when it is open or is rubbing on the door sill I'd start by checking the hinges. If the gaps on the door are wider at the bottom than the top of the door is harder to open when parked on a slight angle, I'd start by checking the body mounts. It could be a combo of both. If the hinges are fine, make sure you keep them well lubed. Same goes for the hood hinges. Both will work much better with a little maintanence.
