Opinions on The GMPP ZZ4 350?

Does anyone have aGMPP zz4 350, or know someone had had one? There is one for sale locally, brand new in the crate, for a really good price. Just wonderin if anyone has anyone opinions on this motor.

Re: Opinions on The GMPP ZZ4 350?

I have never owned one myself as I build all of my own but, its not because I don't like the GMPP engines. I have dealt with there engines alot including the ZZ4 350. GR8 engines IMO and worth their price as listed so if this one is lower than listed I say Go for it. From my experiences they meet or exceed there power #'s/ratings. Durability is very good also and I know this as alot of the GMPP engines I dealt with were dirt track race spec engines that were put through their fair share of abuse on the track. my .02 for ya RJ22

I saw an otherwise stock 3rd gen camaro run easy 12s with one of those and a higher stall converter... I was impressed and they idle mild.

Re: Opinions on The GMPP ZZ4 350?

youd need headers designed to work with angeled sparkplugs/read cataloguedescriptions for angle plug compatability and maybe call some header manufactures to get the specs of thier angle plug headers to see if they'll fit in your truck//or you can get custom made ones too

I had some cast iron world product heads with straight plugs and then went to trick flow aluminum 'angle' plugs and the headers actually fit better. I thought angle plugs were designed to work with headers??

Angle plug heads were designed to place the spark plug closer to the center of the combustion chamber and at a better angle to premote better/more complete combustion. Some headers fit both but your better off doing as cdowns said and do some calling and research. RJ22
