Drive shaft ?

I have a laid out (laying frame) 69 long bed and I am breaking carrier bearrings any one put a one piece drive shaft on their truck is this possible or anyone know where I can get a steel carrier bearring?

If you are breaking carrier bearings, going to a different style isn't going to fix the cause of your problem.I would try to figure out why you are breaking them. Did you adjust the position of the carrier when you put your bags on? You should have. If not, your probably making it and the ujoint operate beyond it's capabilities.

I bought the truck already bagged the carrier bearing has not been moved I'm just trying to work out all the kinks and get the truck reliable

What you could try (what I did) is rotate the carrier bearing 180 degrees and mount it as high as you can. This will minimize the working angle at that joint in the driveshaft. You will have to do some cutting on the carrier bearing bracket.

Thanks but like I said I bought it already bagged but it has 2600 bags up front factory a-arms notched for the steerng and the fron cross member is sectioned 2.5 in it will actuall go about 1 inch lower in the front but I have to get smaller tires tire is sitting on the hood hinge which have already been trimmed.

Do you have any pics of the front? Would love to see your centerlink and tie rod setup. I've never heard of a 2.5" crossmember notch, but I guess its possible.

Its not a notch it is sectioned 2.5 inches The truck is at my friends house where we are working on it next time im over there ill take some pics of the front

yea, I meant to say section, not notch. I just finished a 1.5 section on my crossmember. So do you have a rack or stock steering?

stock the control arms are notched for the steering arm kinda ghetto

how did you prevent the inner tie rod ends from hitting the LCA's?
