original V8 question
my '67 burb has a straight six(250) in it swapped in by somebody, but the Vin# tells me it was an original V8 burb. How do I know if it came with a 327 or 283?

Re: original V8 question
On the glovebox sticker, if there is no option for an engine size then it is the base v-8. A 327 whould show as an option.

Re: original V8 question
Just the standard 6cyl was a 250 if it was a 292 truck it would be an option and listed on the glove box door
