Re: 3 " Lowering Block Kit - Get in the Zone
I used to go to Boeing Surplus and buy bars of aircraft aluminum in different thicknesses. It was still a little expensive. Cut it up in blocks, drill it (what a mess), belt sand & blast them. They looked good, but way too much labor. I now just order them from CPP and get on with it!

Re: 3 " Lowering Block Kit - Get in the Zone
I still have the aluminum blocks I made in high school along with the U-bolts I made from round-stock. They've done time in three different trucks now

Re: 3 " Lowering Block Kit - Get in the Zone
Every thing I have is lowered and I would kind of like to lower my '71 C30 Motorhome, I can only assume the 2" lowering block would work fine for the back and maybe a lower spring for the front, I won't spend the money on bags and they don't make dropped spindles for 1 tons. Any other ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
