heres the switch just mounts to a bracket under the dash and bumps into the brake pedal.

There is a plug for it above the brake pedal. Should be plastic; it plugs into the bottom of the switch and snaps in place.

Here is a pic. The brake pedal rod is in the way, but hopefully you get the general idea. Hope this helps.

One of the wires is a power wire, the other goes to the brakelights.

No. The signals could work and you could still have no brakelights. The wire that goes to the brakelights goes thru the turn signal switch. Check for power on the one wire at the switch. Then check the other. It should have power only with the pedal depressed. If they are OK, then you need to check the turn signal switch.

yeah the lights dont work i plugged in orange to orange wires and white to white and it aint workin...

well it turns out there was no power to the line which goes underneath the floormat which surprised me...anyone now there these wires are supposed to go?? like from the switch?
