1"/3" drop
I have 1" drop coils on the front of my frame and 3" drop on the rear. Without the body on, it looks like it's got a fairly level stance. Does anyone have a picture of a truck with a 1/3 drop with all the parts on it and weighted down?
Thank, Greg

From what i have seen on these trucks, it takes approx 2-2 1/2" more drop at the rear to make a level stance. I have hwat i would call "loosely" a 3/5 drop on the longhorn(no aftermarket parts), & she has 1" more height at the rear. Tire height is also a factor on the stance, but I would say you should have a fairly level stance. Sorry I cant help with the pics that you need to see tho.....

Appreciate the help longhorn...
The tank was custom made by a local boat builder. I have a fuel injected LT1, so needed to have a tank built around a Camaro in tank fuel pump. At $215, it was pretty reasonable. Greg

From what i have been told, you will not see a change in height with a 1" drop spring. After 30 years, your old springs have sagged that much already. As for a level stance, it should be close with a 1-3 drop. Worst case is you add a spacer at the rear axle to fine tune it.
