Re: Truck is home!

Well what I know so far is ...
Truck is an 84 1/2 ton,4" lift,33's.Was originally a diesel now a 350.th400 not sure of t-case yet.Motor is no good but my buddy gave me a good one when I bought it.(at least it's supposed to be!)Interior is not bad but someone did a hack job on the carpet and door panels, thats all got to go,the dash is cracked but that's normal.Anything else you want to know just ask.Right now this is about as far as i've gotten with it but i've got a 4 day weekend this week and i'll be getting started on it friday.
As far as what my plan's for it are, definintly do some work on the interior, and maybe a slightly larger tire,35's or 36's and a couple more inches of lift.paint it back red and black,I want to put a roll bar in it and some lights on that and the front bumper and of couse fix the rust which really isn't all that bad!Looks like the wheel openings on the bed and the rocker on the right side.

Re: Truck is home!

lloks to be a 4 inch body lift. i wouldnt go any higher in a body lift only cause it makes the trucks so top heavy. I think a sepention lift is better cause it gives you more movement and has some stabalizers to add for the height. Just a thought my bros bronco is a 3 inch body left and man does it have body roll.

Re: Truck is home!

It is a 3" body lift,I put a tape measurer on it.I guess it has a 1" suspension lift?Looks like there are one extra leaf in the leaf packs, the front has some alltread brackets on the leaf packs to keep the extra leaf from shifting.
