19.5 Mpg!
I just checked the mileage of my '85 with a TBI 350/TH350 lockup, and got 19.5 miles per gallon! And that's around town, not just highway. I rescently installed a rebuilt 350 and the throttle body setup, and have been trying to figure out why it runs lean when it's cold, but it runs good after it's warmed up, so for that kind of mileage, I may just have to leave it alone.

Re: 19.5 Mpg!
That's great! I know the '88 350 TBI in a 2wd would get 19-21 on the highway. Are you running the original TBI swirl port heads?

Re: 19.5 Mpg!
The heads are original '91 TBI heads. I'm thinking that I may have the wrong (305) injectors, or chip, but unless I have more problems, I'm in no hurry to fix it.
