pics of my babies
Here are the pics of my 2 remaining trucks, not pretty, but quite functional. The blue one is a 67 K-20 with a 350, 4spd, 4.56 gears and detroit lockers in both axles, I just built the flatbed for it 2 weeks ago, before that, Dad had a feedwagon box mounted on it. I grew up with this truck, it was the first one I ever drove and I finally got Dad talked out of it.
The orange one is a 72 K-10 swb with a 350, th350, 3.07 gears. I bought it several years ago and for a long time it was my primary vehicle. I have swapped cabs and engines, but that's as far as I've got with it.

Re: pics of my babies
They are all pretty when you are talking about these years of trucks just some more than other. I would not turn down either of them. I also think that it is great to own a vehical with a history like yours. Thanks for sharing with us. RJ22

Re: pics of my babies
I got lucky with the flatbed, My grandad bought it many years ago for a pickup he had and never used it. it came off of a truck of some sort with a flat frame and had wooden stringers. I had to modify the whole thing and build the headache rack to get it to work on my truck. It works pretty well for me because I just use the 67 for getting to the creek when it's muddy to cut firewood (it's had this nasty shimmy for the last 20 or so years and I haven't been able to find it. I only feel it on the highway, so I don't drive it on the highway).
