OK, needing some help with truck measurements...

OK, I'm going to try and start a new way to determine the amount a truck in lowered... but, I need help getting the initial measurements...

What is the measurement from the top edge of a fleetside bedside to the wheel arch opening?

What is the measurement from the bottom edge of the cab rocker (that lip on the bottom) to the top (peak) of the cab?

More questions to follow....

I got 14" for the bed measurement and 55 1/4" for the cab measurement.

Re: OK, needing some help with truck measurements...

Ok, So...
this may be a tough one...
what is the measurement from the centerline of the rear axle to the bottom of the rear axle housing pumpkin...
= difference of ground to center of rim less (-) bottom of pumkin to ground?

ALSO,...
is the bottom edge of the fenders in front of tire and behind tire, parallel? OK, wait...
what does your truck measure just in front of rear wheel (bottom edge of bed), then at the bottom of cab, right at the front edge of door, then just behind front tire (bottom edge of fender) and then bottom edge of fender just in front of front tire

Re: OK, needing some help with truck measurements...

Would it be the same as measuring the heighth of the pumpkin and halfing it?

Re: OK, needing some help with truck measurements...

Top of the pumpkin from the ground: 18 3/4"
Ground to bottom of pumpkin: 8 1/8"
That makes the pumpkin 10 5/8" tall
Centerline would be 5 5/16"

Still working on the rest.

Re: OK, needing some help with truck measurements...

The bed is actually off the truck so I don't think I can get those measurements, if I'm reading the post right anyways. For the door measurement, do you mean on the hinge side of the door or the latch side? I'm going to get the front fender measurements now.

Re: OK, needing some help with truck measurements...

Well, if no bed... I would need both... but not bottom of door, bottom of CAB, below door...front (hinge side) and back (latch side)...
really just checking here to see if truck is level or raked, etc...

Re: OK, needing some help with truck measurements...

Also, just verifying....
is your rear tire approx. 27-1/2 or 27-3/4 inch tall?
Centerline of center cap of rim is approx, 13-3/4 inches from floor...?
