15x10s & 4/6 drop
I have a '69 2wd Burb. Would 15x10s with 275/50/15s provide enough clearance witha 4 inch drop in the front?? The rims have a standard backspacing. Anybody have anything close to this combo??

Re: 15x10s & 4/6 drop
I know most people run 15x8s, but this guy wants to trade for rallys...so it is just a possibility right now....

Re: 15x10s & 4/6 drop
back in the day, my cousin had a 72 with 15x10's on appliance wire wheels with the 265/50R15 bfgoodrich T/A's, it sat pretty damn low and the fenders were about 1/2 inch from tires. so you may want to run 265's instead of 275's on your rig, just to keep them from rubbing.

Re: 15x10s & 4/6 drop
Thanks guys for the help. I want to run 265/50/15s, but I do not think BFG makes this size anymore. I may go with 255/50/15s. Going by the pictures that I had seen, the rims/tires will be even with the fenders. I mainly didn't want the look that was a fad a few years back where the rim/tires were sticking away from the body.

Re: 15x10s & 4/6 drop
I'm not sure of the drop on my truck, but I run 15x10's. They are 15x10 all around. Front tires are 255 60 15 and the rears are 275 60 15's.

Re: 15x10s & 4/6 drop
1/2" clearance between tire and body in the rear works for me.
