YJ, I'm sorta confused with all fuel tank problems. Are ou saying you don't have to fool with the replacement tank neck, all you have to do is cut a section out of the old filler neck and use it like a splice to get the correct angle to fit??

Thanks YJ, will wait for further info. Tank project comin' up in the not to distant future, altho it doesn't leak yet!

Drove my two girls to school this morning and then headed over to get my antique tag registered - yep - I'm not legally driving the streets!
Ain't that 14 bolt sexy Had to snap some shots of the K5 outside since most of my shots have been from inside the shop. The seat covers are off a vehicle that my dad has - he hated them and was going to get rid of the. I noticed the shape was pretty close and tried them out and they work pretty good. Not necessarily what I would have chosen, but sure beats sitting on ripped up seats! Got into the secondaries yesterday and a couple times today - really bogs down and sputters so something needs to be adjusted. Sure drives and runs well when the secondaries are shut.

jaros44 - the box from my tank says Fuel Tank Kit and gives the following number: 69-9310-BKIT. The manufacture info was torn off of the box.
I got it from www.bowtiebits.com for $250 and it comes with the tank, the straps, a sending unit, new sending unit seal and lock ring. It did not include the rubbber strips that go between the tank and the straps.

I used my existing strap, the ones in the package were more generic.

Thought so, I bought new ones, and didn't like them. I thought I would just spot weld some stainless steel onto my old ends. J.

After doing lawn work Sunday I took a few minutes and worked on the Blazer doors. They were opening extremely hard so I put a couple shims at the mount directly behind the front seats and a shim at the mount behind that mount. Definitely a big improvement but the passenger door is still a little tight. If I remove one of the contact plates (not sure of their actual name) on the door, the passenger door opens effortlessly but I'm sure those plates are needed so won't leave them off.
After getting the doors to open better I installed the rear shocks - imagine that, alot less bouncy now!
