Whats it worth? 67 grill?

This is the grill I found at the j-yard. What is it worth? It looks as though it was painted white with house paint at some point.... odd. The grill doesn't appear to have any rust and the core support looks to be in nice shape. The grill doesn't appear to have any damage at all. Let me know what it is worth and if there is a market for it. If his (j-yard) price is right I will get it for someone if they need it.

If it's a strait grill with no rust, $125.00 will be a good price.

Re: Whits it worth? 67 grill?

Thanks guys! The fenders are rusted out. the bumper is pretty straight with onl y a couple of spots on the bottom where it looks like the truck was pulled bu chains and it bent the bottom out in 2 spots. Whats a bumper worth?

good luck taking it off without a sawzall... has a ton of bolts unless you take the front clip off.

If the core support is rust-free or pretty close, that will yield the most money. It's hard to find a good 67/68 core support.

Re: Whits it worth? 67 grill?

You don't need a sawzall, just pull the four bolts per side. Spray a little liquid wrench on them prior to removing the grille.

I would say a 100-125.00 sounds good.

No, you also have to pull the bottom dust shield off or unbolt it from the core support too, I had to cut a few of my bolts due to rust. and you have to remove the hood latch (keep it too!) which is easier...

Price is about what everyone stated 100-150 for an average grille. I have sold one for $100 and another for $75 with minor issues.

Re: Whits it worth? 67 grill?

I just sold my last complete, straight, rust free 67, 68 grill for $200 plus the ride, and got $150, plus the ride for the core support (also rust free). But stuff comes apart out here in CA so it was a very easy uninstall.

Re: Whits it worth? 67 grill?

I sold two nice bare grille shells here for $125 each (my asking price) plus shipping. I'd say at least that for this one with the trim

There is a nice one on ebay tonight, ends in one hour and it is already up to $195 plus shipping

Re: Whats it worth? 67 grill?

Jorge,
Cut through the fenders with a sawzall right behind the core support and then undo the bottom coresupport bolts and take it home then take it apart if the front fenders are rusted away anyways. What shape is the hood in?

Re: Whats it worth? 67 grill?

The hood is gone. I will try and get the other stuff Wednesday (have to work a 24 hour shift tomorrow).
