Finally some paint

Well the old girl finally got some paint put on her. I was going to go with Candy Apple Red, but went with Torch Red instead. These pics are from last week. Yesterday the bed, tailgate, doors, and fenders were sprayed. Please comment.

Dusty.....

Looks like the paint is messed up around the cap, but its just a shadow.

Re: Finally some paint

I wish I could help, but my shop bill was a flat rate. I've been buddies with the owner for a long time and I paid $4000 off the record, cash only, for some major body work and paint. This included all new chrome.

Re: Finally some paint

Great job! Are you doing the underside of the hood and the engine compartment, too?
Nice truck!

Re: Finally some paint

Windancer, I'm not doing the engine compartment. The underside of the hood WAS painted. The only reason I'm not doing the engine bay is because its a DD. I'm not going to be showing it or anything. Just a daily driver around the college campus and home on the weekends.
