Dads new truck

Well I normally post on the 67-72 board but my dad just bought a new suburban, It's a 76 3/4t 454 95,500 miles no rust. It's in really good shape except a couple of interior problems from being in the california sun. we also have a 80 suburban that is in pretty good shape too(blown engine). will the dash pad out of the 80 fit the 76? how about the head liner? What other parts interchange? If anyone needs good body parts Let me know.

Pretty much everything will interchange from 73-87, some of the components just changes looks wise. All dash pads from 73-80 are identical (except the older ones, 73-74 I believe, they had the VIN on the cab jamb so there will be no hole on the pad where the VIN #s are). Headliners should swap too.

Good find, stick around, ask more ??'s, and show us some pics when you get some!

i had a 77 for a while, and the VIN plate was in the jamb. appears it changed in either 78 or 79. where's Tom when you need him? he's got one of each.
