Comp Cams has had some problems.....they blame the oil companies for removing the zinc from engine oils, other cam makers have issues as well.....
Break in the cam properly with good break-in lube and ya should be fine.... I for one switched to Delo oil......

I went with a summit 2200-5200 rpm 224º/224º duration and .465"/.465" lift. The number is sum-1105, tell me what you guys think.

That should be a good all around, usable cam, what's the lobe separation?
