What did you get done this weekend?
I removed the hood, fenders, etc in preparation to paint the engine bay.
I also did some yard work for the wife….just in time for Mothers Day! s/t

Re: What did you get done this weekend?
I got almost all the bolts removed from my C-20 in preperation to put the body on the K-20 chassis. I'm amazed that every bolt came out of the front clip without a fight. 2 of the 4 cab mounts has to be torched out as well as all of the bed bolts.
Next week I'm getting 3 helpers pull the body off, Woo Hoo ! finally making some progress!

Didn't get much done this weekend, but I hooked up my original AM/FM Push Button thanks to board member Huck on Friday night. I also got my boy ready for anymore California wildfires that might pop up. Check out his sweet hairdo

Re: What did you get done this weekend?
I finally got something done...
Removed my front clip, pulled the engine and tranny (TH350), used the pressure washer to remove 30+ years of dirt and grime from the suspention and frame, Reinstalled engine with 700r4, installed power steering (much easier without front clip), installed tilt column, removed underhood wiring (was all melted inside the fender), reinstalled front clip using new sheetmetal (fenders and inner fenders). WHEW!!! and i wonder why i'm so achy and sun-burnt (working in the driveway). all i gotta do now is repair my wiring harness, and I can drive my truck for the first time, and i've owned it for 5 years (that's a story for some other time)

Re: What did you get done this weekend?
Spent the weekend aligning the doors and getting the outer rockers in the the right position. Finally welded in the rockers which completes the cab work!!!!
I also spent alot of time preassembling the front clip to make sure that everything aligned properly. Lucky I did so because I found out that the guy who welded in the passenger fender tip really botched it because it was off by almost an inch! Started work on fixing the original as a replacement. Re: What did you get done this weekend?
Changed the fluids and greased my John Deere, and then drove the 69 up to town to run some fuel through the Q-Jet.

I finished stripping the parts off the '72 that I want so I can get rid if the rest of it. I may put the rest on the parts board but there isn't much left.... Also started sorting and tagging parts so I can remember what they are and where they go.... LockDoc

Re: What did you get done this weekend?
Cruised Friday night, so that nix'd any work then! lol
Pulled the hood and hinged to blast and paint 'em, then decided to rewire the engine compartment, hide the wires and fit them all into shrink tube and get rid of all that damned split loom. Had to order more shrink tube tho... Dummied up the brackets to mount the new condensor, and finished the CAD file for the Sanden compressor brackets we are going to make a run of... Spent the rest of the weekend working on the racebike for next weekend...

Not much, put my new door handles on from Mike's bump and grind I got, much nicer when you can open the doors without fear of the button falling out!

Re: What did you get done this weekend?
Worked with lots and lots of wood!
Planned down 1500 feet of 700 year Old Growth Douglas Fir. It came out of the old wood mill in town, soon to be a Timber frame house.... Arms are still numb!

Re: What did you get done this weekend?
installed PS pump and box. but not the right pressure hose or pully, thought the pump lined up with the second pully, but NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did some hardcopy research at the store and fingered out the part number was right, the part in the box was wrong. still sitting on one stand.
